Membership Requirements

ASWA membership is available to individuals in all areas of accounting and related fields, including public accounting, private industry, non-profit groups,
government agencies and academia.

Membership classifications and annual dues are as follows...

• Regular:
  Persons having a Bachelor's Degree or those actively engaged in accounting or finance with at least two years of accounting experience or those holding a CPA certificate.
  -- Annual Dues $145.00

• Affiliate:
  Persons not actively engaged in accounting or finance, but who have a substantial interest in the profession, or providers of goods and/or services to the accounting industry.
  -- Annual Dues $145.00

• Associate:
  Persons actively engaged in accounting with less than two years of experience.
  -- Annual Dues $46.00

• Student:
  Persons regularly enrolled in an accredited post secondary school, majoring in accounting or a related field.
  -- Annual Dues $46.00

• Retired:
  -- Annual Dues $36.00

  Annual dues listed above include both local and national dues.
